What we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and password (passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text). Billing information is collected and processed by our payment provider — we never store full card details.
- The keywords, domains and search queries you submit to generate results.
- Usage data — which features you use, your run history, and timestamps — used to operate, meter and improve the service.
How we use your data
- We use third-party data providers and AI services to process your queries and generate search volumes, keyword difficulty scores, competitor data, seasonality curves and content briefs. Only the queries themselves (keywords/domains) are shared with these processors — never your account details.
- We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure site usage and ad performance. When you create an account, your email address is shared with Google in hashed (irreversibly scrambled) form, so Google can match a sign-up to the ad that drove it — this is standard "Enhanced Conversions" measurement, and Google cannot recover your actual email from it.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Retention
- Run history is retained for a limited period — 7 days during your trial and 14-30 days on paid plans — after which it is automatically deleted. You can also delete individual runs or your entire history at any time from your account page.
- Account data is retained while your account is active, and deleted when your account is deleted.
Your rights
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting admin@serpwize.com.
- If you are in the EU/UK or California, you have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA, including the right to erasure, data portability, and opting out of certain processing. Contact us at the address above to exercise them.
Changes to this policy
- We will notify users of material changes to this policy via email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
